FICO Progress - May 07

Date June 20, 2007

Thought it would be interesting for me (and for you) to track my FICO Progress. Once I have enough data on my Retirement/Debt/FICO progress, I’ll make a chart to see how I’m doing over time.

Anyways, my FICO Score for May was 766.

What factors lower my credit score:

  • Length of credit history : You opened your first credit account 9 years and 9 months ago.
  • Credit usage : You currently owe $2,634 on your revolving account(s).

What factors raise my credit score:

  • Credit usage : You currently have $26,329 of available credit on your revolving account(s).
  • Credit accounts : On average, the credit limit or loan amount of your credit accounts is $51,564.

As you know, here in Brasil we do not have credit scores like FICO. At least you do not know about it, although the banks has credit scores.
