Sam’s Club - Peace of mind

I just joined Sam’s Club. I’ve been having some bad luck with electronics lately. I don’t believe an expensive piece of electronic should break after 3 or 4 years. Just last year and this year alone, I had an expensive digital camera go bad and 2 LCD TVs. That’s about $4k of electronic (top of the line at the time) lost. So I decided to join Sam’s Club due to their excellent warranty policy. I don’t plan on abusing it, like exchanging used condoms or half-eaten party trays, but I want peace of mind with my big ticket purchases.

They are a bit more expensive than online options, and they don’t have such a great selection on electronics, but it will be worth it at least for the big ticket items, such as TVs and expensive cameras.

Now I need to update my finances with a new membership ($100/yr) and a new Discovery Credit Card.
