Newborn

My second son was born last night with 7lbs 13oz and 20.25″.
Although quite happy, I can’t seem to turn off my financial genes. I’m already thinking about his 529, when should I start contributing to it and how much. About how much will my budget change with this new addition and about how much my medical expenses will increase with this second kid.
But better not to think about finances now, because I know it will only get worse 
On the bright side, a nurse that had 2 boys and is already a grandma told me that boys are great to raise and that you stop loving them when they are 13 and start loving them again when they are 19. But what stuck with me was:
My greatest joy was to see my 2 sons become fine men.
I was so jealous of her.

Congratulations to you and your wife, on the addition to your family.
It’s written that boys are easier to raise than girls, but the joy all children bring into our lives, makes raising either one, a true pleasure.
